We went to Kouzzina for breakfast yesterday (our 2nd time there for breakfast). Very good, just like before.
Service was spotty though. We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our 10:30 reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. Waitress was kind of slow in taking our order, and a bit slow in bringing our coffee (get the press pot!).
Just about when I was starting to get antsy about our food, she stopped by to say she didn't know what was taking so long so she had her manager following up on it. Within a few minutes after that, the manager brought our food over. We asked for ketchup & syrup and that took another 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, as I've seen others say, there were plenty of empty tables - maybe 20-25% were empty. And there seemed to be lots of wait staff around, so I don't know what their deal is exactly.
Mike had the American (basic eggs, sausage, whatever) since he's not into all that Greek sounding stuff! LOL. Or veggies. I'm sure it was fine.
I had the Waffle with the Marscapone cheese, honey, nuts - it was as awesome as the time before! And some sausage. I highly recommend that.
The blueberry-orange pancakes are no longer on the menu, sadly, because I wanted to try them after tasting my kids' last trip. There is an item on the menu that might have replaced it - it was French toast made from Fig & Anise bread with honey and nuts. That sounded pretty good to me, but somehow I couldn't quite decide if the anise in the bread was going to cut it for me or not, so I ordered the waffle instead.
So overall, very good food. Service average - we didn't leave anything extra over the mandatory TiW 18%.
