Hope its okay to post this here. I'm trying to figure out how much we are going to need for tips. I have meals and mousekeeping down. Is there any other tipping you usually end up doing? Bell hop, that sort of thing? I'm totally clueless on who, how much, etc.

Baggage handlers at the resort: $1 per bag.
Taxi driver around WDW (if you use one) $2-$5 depending on price of ride.
Some people tip the ME driver if he handles your bags, so I guess $1 per bag?
That's all I got!

Valet parking. We tip at drop off and pick up but many just tip at pick up I think.

Where are you staying? If you're at a more expensive resort offsite, or a Moderate or Deluxe onsite you'll probably need more for tips. If you're at a Value onsite or a less expensive hotel or a condo offsite then you'll just need your basics.

What do you tip for mousekeeping? I have always done $1 a bag for luggage handlers, I've never tipped ME drivers but I guess I should.

We tip $1 per person, per day for the Mousekeeping. So, each night of our stay, our family of 5 leaves $5.00 on the mirror before we head out to the parks in an envelope that says "thank you."
We're camping this upcoming trip. I wonder if the kids will leave this mousekeeper a tip ? :RpS_laugh:

I guess the rule of thumb is $1 per person but even though we are a family of 4 we just give $5. One $5 bill is just easier and a nice "round" number.

We actually like to leave 5 single dollar bills because they are easier to share with your co-worker. I've seen more than one person cleaning a room before.

Thanks, we are a family of four but I was thinking $5 a day.

Thanks, we are a family of four but I was thinking $5 a day.I think $1/pp/pd with a $5 minimum is a good and fair rule of thumb. When I stay alone, I still give $5/day. I always think about how much I'd like to get if I was the one cleaning the toilets and scrubbing the bathtubs and changing the sheets. At a place where you can pay $15 for a frigging balloon, $5 is a bargain for housekeeping.
