We got our points!!!! Now I have a question.

I just got my confirmation of the points I needed to rent for next June 21-29. My family and I will be sharing a 2BR Villa at Bay Lake (Lake View) with my friend's family. All of the standard view 2br villas were taken, so it's costing us a little more, but I'm just excitied that we were able to get the 436 points needed. My question is, does anyone have any room suggestions for the 2br Lake View Villas. This is the first time that we are staying in Villas. I thought I read somewhere that we might get lucky and actually get a view of MK. I know that it's just a request and that Disney can't guarantee it, but I would love any input on which floor, room #, etc.:RpS_tongue:

Request North Tower, even numbered room, highest floor available for possible MK views. That's the request I made for my upcoming BLT stay in Nov. I tried to get MK view but it was unavailable. I've read asking for specific room numbers won't get you what you want, but I've never tried it either. Good luck!!

Agreed. You can go to the DIS forums and they have a good breakdown of the rooms and room numbers and even have some of the views posted.

Both of the previous posters gave you great replies!! Requesting a specific room is definately not a good idea as mentioned and the Dis post is pretty extensive, you can gets lots of good info there. I really just wanted to say Congrats on getting BLT. We just stayed there in June and just loved it! Have a great vacation!!!

Thanks for the responses. I checked out the DIS boards and will make a request for North Tower even room #'s. I would really like to be in a room with at least a partial MK view, but it's not the end of the world if we don't get it. We are just really excitied about staying at BLT. I can't find anyone to say anything bad about BLT. We have only stayed at All Star, AKL, & WL so this is going to be a new experience. My counter on the disney site says 310 days, I know that's a long time off, but just seeing a counter again and knowing that we are going back makes me happy. Thanks again for the help, I'm sure that I will have many more questions between now and then and will probably run them by you experts, if you guys don't mind. :RpS_biggrin:

All the recommendations listed above (North Tower, even numbered room, highest floor available) will get you right into he ball park of getting a partial Mgic Kingdom View if fulfilled. At check in be sure that you get 6th floor of higher. The lower floors may have the MK view blocked by the monorail structure. Have fun!
