What is one snack you can't go to WDW and not get? I'm trying to make sure we get the best snacks when we are there.

We also adore the school bread from Norway in Epcot but my new favorite, must-have snack is a cup cake from starring rolls in Hollywood Studios. Any flavor will do!:RpS_love:

Dole Whip Float
Chocolate muffin from Main Street Bakery. One a day and I bring half a dozen home (still have one in the freezer from last trip but I think it's a bit beyond edible).

Mickey ears and a pretzel from Germany!

We're really cheap and seldom buy anything on site, but here are some things we regularly splurge on:
At Magic Kingdom: Ice Cream from the Main Street Ice Cream Shop and sometimes Dole Whips.
At Epcot: Almond Pretzel in Norway almost anything in France.
At Hollywood Studios: Butterfinger Cupcake at Rolling Stars
Although not a snack, a trip just doesn't feel complete if we don't go to Beaches & Cream. We still haven't had the Kitchen Sink yet, but perhaps sometime on this trip!

AK- love the ice cream swirls right past Expedition Everest

Mickey Bar! A trip to Disney is not complete without at least one Mickey Bar.
Mine is a mickey chocolate dipped rice krispie treat and pretzel from Germany, the kids love the chocolate covered marshmallows on a straw from the Spells shop at DHS and I can promise that our family will not contribute to the quick disappearance of those cupcakes from starring rolls....tooo sweet for us.
Kids also love the cinnamon roasted almonds at AK. :RpS_thumbup:

No possible way I could pick just one.
I have never been without getting:
at least one chocolate dipped rice krispy treat
a dole whip float
a chocolate croissant (from the bakery in france, the resort or Main Street Bakery- they are all good)
a mickey ice cream bar.
New last year was the butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls but I think it is being officially added to my "must have" list.
I haven't tried the school bread, something about the description puts me off, I dont like Boston Creme or Barvarian Creme and I get the impression that is whats in it..is that right?
Maybe I should try it anyway.

I'm "big" on school bread from Kringla.
What he said. Yuuuummmmmmy!
I have so, so many.....
chocolate dipped pretzels from Goofy's-with m&m's and a chocolate drizzle(oh-that's dark chocolate dipped btw)
Dole Whip from either Capt Cook's or the Aloha Aisle
cupcake from starring rolls-last time it was the butterfinger one-but now-it's the red velvet one!
spicy cheese pretzel from AK-really good with a frozen lemonade-gotta try the elephant cupcake from AK too.
carrot cake cookie from Writer's Stop
And, we're making a special trip to Contempo cafe to try those cupcakes George spoke about.
And at least one stop at the caramel shop in Germany.....thank goodness we're sharing 'cause there's simply no way, I could eat all that on my own!
Jan
These sound good! Do you remember where the pretzels and lemonade are? Dd would love these!

Sorry-been MIA for a while. I've gotten the frozen lemonade(minute maid type) at Flame Tree-and at several of the frozen treat carts in AK. The spicy cheese pretzel-I can describe where we were-on the parade route-across from Flame Tree-the pretzel stand was right there-I'll look up the name at get back.....
That's ok, I looked it up yesterday. The pretzel is at the Tamu Tamu? stand. It's the one that sells fresh fruit. Can't wait!

I have to have a warm Cinnamon Roll/Bun from Main Street Bakery in MK. I do not eat cinnamon buns the rest of the year, I only indulge in them at Main Street Bakery. The best is to have one at the end of EMH, I am usually exhausted and that sugar races through my veins.
I also love pretty much anything at the French Bakery in Epcot.

Agree with the Dole Whip Float w/ pineapple juice, yummy!
In HS, love the popcorn. Don't know why but it's the best popcorn ever!
Epcot: tied between the school bread in Norway and the cloudberry horn.
AK: No snacks, but really like Flame Tree BBQ.

We always bring home lots of chocolate dipped mickey rice kris pie treats. I've never had a dole whip. Every time we get to the stand, I get a fresh wedge of pineapple.

My kids absolutely have to get a pretzel from Germany and popcorn at some point. I used to get a dole whip float (pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice variety) every trip but now have dietary restrictions that keep me from eating that. I did have no sugar added raspberry sorbet from the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor this trip and it was fantastic!! I wish I could find it here at home but haven't been able to.

Only one? It's so hard to choose just one. And I'm kind of afraid to say, because my "must haves" tend to get eliminated. I used to love pistachio gelato at the BC Marketplace, then strawberry swirls at Enchanted Grove, the cannolis at PVH, the Peach Tarts at Boulangerie Pastrie. But I guess now it's the creme brulee, also at the French Bakery.

DH has to get popcorn at MK and I usually get a pretzel somewhere. I used to love Dole Whips until Josh's blog about what was in it! Now I can't get seem to get into it! I was there in August and kept passing it by. My son could not believe I did not get one.

This has changed. I was grossed out when I read the old contents (lots of fake stuff), but it's now not bad. Still not something I'd serve on a regular basis (we eat organic ice cream at home) but nice for a treat.

I will NOT leave the world without an icecream sandwich from the Bakery on Main St. One chocolate chip cookie, one oatmeal raisin cookie and loads of vanilla ice cream in the middle! YUMMY!
It's funny, at home I daydream constantly about Disney snacks, but when we were there and had 30 snack credits to use, we ended up with extra. We brought home a bunch of stuff from the confectionary and MAN I wish I could get my hands on more.
DS picked one of those new cake pops (http://www.adventurevacationcruiselineblog.com/2011/06/26/sweet-disney-traditions-disney-candy-lollipops-to-mickey-cake-pops/)and just bit into his today. I tried a bit and I am totally impressed. There is gooey chocolate cake inside, dipped in white chocolate (and I don't care for white chocolate). The ears are marshmallow and the whole thing is covered in blue sugar. He only ate a bit and I'm so tempted to grab another bite of it.

They are in just about every bakery I saw! There were at our resort bakery (POFQ), main st confectionary, and several other places. They are HUGE! I think they might also be available as a dessert at some CS places.
And, welcome! :RpS_thumbup:

My husband absolutely, positively MUST have the Butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls. As for me...I've been sitting here racking my brain trying to think of a "must have" snack and I can't think of any. I like lots of snacks, don't get me wrong. I tend to graze depending on where I am when I get hungry.
