I called first thing this morning to get my candle light processional reservation. The first time I called it said that disney dining was currenlty closed. I immediately called back 3 times because I received a fast busy signal on the next call I got through and was put into hold. The wait time to make a reservation at 7:01 AM was 60 MINUTES . I could hardly believe it. I waited for 50 miniutes before someone came on the line to help me. Luckily I was still able to get my 2nd choice restaurant for the evening show. I Know many don't care for the Coral Reef but we have always had a nice meal there. I guess I am glad so many people don't like it or we may not have been able to get a reservation. We are a party of 9 and that can be difficult to get at many restaurants. I hope others were able to get there reservaton.

I havent made CP reservations in a long time, but I don't remember it taking that long! Holy Cow. That makes the old days of calling for CRT look like nothing! I am glad you were able to at least get your second choice. I would love to hear what other people who tried today have to say. Congrats on scoring a reservation Wendy, it seems like you hit the jack pot!

We booked our trip last December spur of the moment so had little choice as to which restaurant we ate for the Candlelight Processional package. Fortunately, we really like Biergarten and were able to dine there.
This year, however, DH said that instead of paying more than $50.00 a person (in our family of 5), let's just stand in line for the CP and spend that $150.00+ on a nice restaurant we actually get to pick... like Artist Point. We had to stand in line at the Biergarten check in podium last year for nearly 45 mins. so we'll do the same thing but at the performance, instead.
Does anyone have an opinion about the special viewing section the package gets you for Illuminations? We were so frozen to the bone last year that we opted to not stay until the park closed and, therefore, missed out on our special viewing.

What was choice one?
My first choice was Chefs de France. When I knew the wait was going to be 60 minutes I figured it would be filled up already. We will be at WDW December 16-24.
