View Full Version : December Dining in EPCOT
The 180 day window for December visitors has either arrived or will be here soon.
If you are looking for reservations for dinner at EPCOT you'll have to wait. I was told the reservations for regular dining are being held until the Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages are released. Those packages will be released in July.
So if you're looking to have a table service meal at say, oh I don't know, Coral Reef on Tuesday, December 12th you won't be able to make that reservation now and it may be difficult to get if you aren't doing the Candlelight package.
This may be widely known but I didn't know it so I'll throw it here for anyone else that doesn't know.

Last year I made other ADRs besides my Candlelight package. I got what I wanted about 120 days out prior to free dining offer.

I really wish they would just open up all the reservation at one time. I don't care what that time is, but open it up 90days, 120days, 180days whatever just be consistant with it.
Some restaurants should be available as per usual - it looks like Garden Grill, Via Napoli, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, and Rose and Crown are hard to come by though.

I made all our reservations other than CP in the last week for Dec. 3-11. Just got Fantasmic yesterday since it wasn't in the system before that. I have all days covered so will have to change once the CP packages come out.
Last week there was a day that dining was down both online and by phone. Hit and miss online for me even after that but did finish.

I have no idea, but I am guessing Disney didnt like all the people like me who made reservations then converted them to CLP packages when the dates came out.

Hmm.. this is interesting. I wouldn't mind this if we knew exactly what date the CP pkgs were going to be open, but since we don't... now we have to keep vigilant on pretty much a daily basis until they open up. It was so much nicer during the time when ADRs were at 90 days, I wish they would go back to that. Our last Dec trip was during that time, and I was able to book CP in July, then do the rest of my ADRs later at 90 days. The bonus was that park hours barely changed, (if at all, I don't remember that happening) between the time we made ADRs and the trip. It was so nice; no messing around with the plans, booking & rebooking, no watching the boards like a hawk for weeks on end, very little stress about getting LeCellier without CP even, since we knew in advance which hours would be open.

My ADR window opened today. I did get some reservations at Epcot. There were none available at the Coral Reef and none at the earlier times at Le Cellier. They would not even give me the date as to when the dates would open up for CP so I made other reservations as a backup. They did indicate that once the dates for CP are finalized it will open up many of the Epcot reservations.

I recently made my dining reservations for the second week in December. I was able to get everything I wanted at the times I wanted with the exception of Le Cellier. I've heard so much about it that I am bummed nothing was available! I will keep checking and hopefully something will come through.
I was able to make non-Candlelight Processional dinner reservations at Coral Reef for Dec. 12th. I made the reservations online - it didn't seem like there were a lot of times available. I was looking for 5:30 and was given 7:00 as my only option.
I took it with the hope that I can modify it later

This morning I was browsing the Disney site and checked to see if there were any lunch times available for Le Cellier during our trip and low and behold, there were two times to choose from... so now I have all of my reservations :-) Yay!
