I would like a little help preparing the 2012 Disney World rate calendars if possible.

I have rate charts for each resort for 2011, for example:

http://www.easywdw.com/ratecalendar/animal-kingdom-lodge-2011-rack-room-rate-cost-per-night/

These need to be updated for 2012.

Here's what you will need if you have the time/knowledge to help.

1. Microsoft Excel.
2. Basic knowledge of how to input numbers into the "cells."

I will prepare the Excel chart for your resort with the season dates and room types. You will go to the corresponding resort page at DisneyWorld.com for example http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/animal-kingdom-lodge/rates-rooms/ and then input the pricing for each of the dates.

It's very easy. All you have to do is click on the season dropdown menu at the top and then fill in the Excel chart with the various prices for that season/dates. You'll see the dropdown menu on the right side there above the chart with the room categories and pricing. Simply change this to Value Season 2, Easter, MLK, etc.

It's not hard to do, but it's time consuming. Each one takes about 20 minutes to complete, probably. Less time once you get the hang of it.

If you think you can help do a chart or two, please respond saying "I'm in."

It's not a big deal if you don't have the program or expertise. I can theoretically do them myself, but it's a lot of "busy work" that would be competed faster with more people.

We'll do this a little later this evening and into tomorrow or the next day as necessary also. I have to do the times guides first and then I'll get going on the Excel side of things.

More than happy to help. Just let us know which resorts so we don't repeat. My email is Ali@acrewusa.com if you need it.

Would love to help, but sadly my excel file is missing. No idea what happened to it. Had it one day and poof it was gone.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a hassle. Like March 2nd and 3rd actually isn't listed anywhere. Except it's Regular Season Weekend when every date around it is Peak.

And the dates don't match up for Summer Season. They're priced one way when you go to book a room and priced differently on the chart.

Their calendar/dates list doesn't make any sense and the days listed are wrong - like http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/all-star-movies-resort/rates-rooms/?showYear=2012+Summer+Season+-+Weekend has May 31 and June 1 as a Weekend even though May 31st is a Thursday and when you go to book a room it's inputted properly as Weekday pricing.

I can help - I have free time after 9 PM EST tonight. And I'm a nerd with Excel, so there's that.

(Don't hate. Nerdy girls are hot.)

I think it's more of a hassle than it's worth at the moment. The same thing happened last year. We'll put it off for a few days or until Disney gets its act together or we can just copy mousesavers. Either way until it's easier.

Josh... if you can give me a sample of the Excel file format you want, there's a possibility I can write an application that would "crawl" the WDW website and automatically extract the information. I just looked at the behind-the-scenes HTML source for the page link you included in the original post and I think the data is organized enough that it's "grabbable". I've written an app to grab data from a website before, so I could give it another try. If successful, the app would basically rebuild the Excel file whenever you wanted. Give me a few days to play around in my "free time" and I'll see what I can do... Steve

PS -- send me private messages via the forum if you don't want to "muddy up" this thread with techno-babble...
