We are planning a trip for next summer. My son finishes school the Wednesday before Memorial day. We can spend 6 nights, and need to be back home no later than the Sunday after Memorial day.
We fly out of Kansas City; there are flights that get into Orlando around noon. I am wondering if it would be better to leave here on the Sunday the 27th and spend the whole day of Memorial day in the parks (probably Epcot), or would we be better off traveling on Memorial day and having Tuesday the 29th be our first full day.
Any advice as to how busy Memorial day itself is in the parks?
