What is your favorite lunch? It could be a TS, CS, or character lunch. It could be a lunch in the parks or at a resort. Feel free to include multiple options if you have different ones that make you happy - but also include some reasons so that we know why you like this lunch so much.

One of our favorite places for lunch is Hollywood and Vine. They have delicious cold sandwiches with all the toppings and a tuna salad that is just scrumptious. They offer hot selections, too, but we've always gone when it's hot out so the cold selections are my favorite. DH really enjoys the hot choices and we all adore the YUMMY dessert section. The servers have always been attentive and efficient. Our drinks were always full. The characters and the music have always been delightful and fun. My children are getting a bit too old for the Playhouse Disney friends so that just means we'll spend our TS lunches, now, at our other favorite place...
TUSKER HOUSE! We always do AK rope drop so we are ready for some fantastic food and a break from touring by lunch time. We've been SO happy with the perk they've added that allows you reserved seating at Nemo; The Musical that we always eat during the 1pm hour, now. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxing (well, as much as it can be in a flurry of Disney excitement!) and we've always enjoyed the wonderful break this place offers in the mid day craze of the park. It's our kids favorite TS in the whole 'World' - They refer to it as Miniature Boma. I'll be making our ADRs in 12 more days and TUSKER HOUSE is at the top of the must do list :RpS_wink:

For CS, Columbia Harbor House. It's refreshing to me to be able to order fried fish or shrimp... or if I want something lighter, a tuna sandwich. Somehow I never get past the fish or shrimp though! :D

Totally agree about CS at CHH...I love the vegetarian sandwich with the hummus, really good and different from many other locations! I adore ducking in there after a busy fantasyland morning and getting a little break! I also really like Yak and Yeti CS although I wish they had covered, air conditioned seating! TS we really like Crystal Palace, easy to get in and out of and lots of choices for everyone. But our absolute favorite lunch is what we affectionately call the Epcot Wander, where we go from country to country getting like one dish at each place (and using up our CS credits as we always seem to have a ton left)...We do this while the kids do passports/masks and everyone is happy:RpS_biggrin:

The Plaza at MK is a favorite. Reasons? Good food, a menu everyone in my family can choose from, a great sit-down place after making RD, and a charming atmosphere. During our last visit, we got a table with a view of the castle and Move It! parade and met some town citizens.

Le Cellier for TS lunch. It's pretty much the same menu at lunch as dinner but only one DDP TS credit for lunch versus two for dinner, now that Le Cellier has gone "signature" for dinner.

Ditto on the CHH for fish or shrimp. We always time it for as close to 11:15 as we can and we eat upstairs by the windows. It is so quiet and peaceful and the food is excellent.

It's been so long since we ate CS that I'm not even going to recommend one of those, but I have a few TS favorites. Via Napoli was a really great lunch option on our last trip - good quality pizza and pasta dishes that could be shared amongst party members, thus reducing cost a bit. We loved lunch at the Wave - really good, healthier options that didn't taste healthy. We often do Crystal Palace for lunch in MK, but I think it's pretty hit or miss. Sometimes it's really good, others, not so much - but the character interaction tends to be pretty good at lunch time.

My favorite counter service meals, by park:

Epcot: Yorkshire Fish & Chips in the UK Pavilion
MK: Shrimp at Columbia Harbor House
HS: Deli sandwich and a cupcake at Starring Rolls
AK: Flame Tree BBQ

For table service, Le Cellier at Epcot is about the only in-park restaurant that really stands out to me. I did like Garden Grill in Epcot, but they don't serve lunch there anymore. We do CRT once in a while, but more for the experience than the food.

During the Food & Wine Festival (if we're on the dining plan), dining around the World Showcase (using snack credits for food samples) is another of my favorite "lunches".

Earl of Sandwich. Not sure what it would be if cost were "no object" but I'd go to Earl of Sandwich every day.

There are some CS places listed here that I think I am going to have to give a try. We don't do CS very often as my DH really likes to sit and relax at each meal. We do a few each trip and I am never quite sure where to go so thanks for the great ideas. As far as TS lunch, well it really isn't for the food but I am going to say 50s Primetime. Our whole family just loves antics there and I do enjoy the pot roast. It is one of the meals we look forward to each trip for the fun of it. For food agree with PP that the Wave is very good with different menu items and a less hectic atmosphere.

Sci-Fi Dine in is my family's favorite lunch. We do this almost every time we RD DHS. Our family of 6 fits nicely in a car. It is comfortably cool inside. After a morning of running around trying to hit all of our favorites it is a chance for us to relax before we go back to touring for the rest of our 3/4 day in a park that always seems hot and crowded.

Ohh, so hard to choose:
Le Chefs with Remy was great, the food was very good & I liked the dining room
Le Cellier has very good food, dining room nothing special, though
Sci-Fi has the neatest atmosphere & I like burgers and shakes

Oh, Jill... you're a girl after my own heart :RpS_laugh:

I love that you mentioned atmosphere because, to me, atmosphere (and service) rank at the top of my priority list when it comes to dining out. If there's not a good ambiance, what does it matter what the food tastes like ?:noidea:

My lunch favs are
MK: The Plaza Restaurant - just a great restaurant with good food and a great
view! Me and my DD7 LOVE the tomato bisque soup there (I typically HATE
tomato soup too!). I know, soup in Florida!?? But when you're soaking wet
from Splash and sit in the air conditioned room the soup is extra delish!
AK: Flame Tree BBQ - just like to find a table away from all the other people
near the water. It's really relaxing in the shade and the pulled pork is good
too.
EP: Kringla Bakery in the Norway Pavillion - love the apple ham sandwich and
the pastries.
DHS: don't really have fav but will be trying 50's PTC this trip!

EP: Kringla Bakery in the Norway Pavillion - love the apple ham sandwich and
the pastries.

This is my favorite!!!! The seating is outside but under a covered area that seems to be several degrees lower then the outside temps!!! And the view of the WS is just amazing while you are eating!! The food is spectacular!! Who knew that a sandwich could be so yummy!!!! The only problem I have here is that the pastries are so yummy looking that it is extremely difficult to pick just one!!!!!!

We love Sci Fi. We love sitting in the cars watching the sci fi clips. It reminds me of my childhood. We love the shakes, too!

Crystal Palace. We must have caught them on a good day, but the food was well-prepared and very fresh. If you are a cash guest, this is one of the best character meal values on property, IMO. Awesome escape from the heat in the summer.

The Niciose sustainable fish at Sunshine Seasons. A reasonably healthy preparation, and almost reminiscent of the salmon with green beans and jollof rice that they used to serve when Tusker was a CS location. (That salmon dish was my hands down favorite CS meal of all time.)

The hummus sandwich at Columbia Harbor is another great choice---a nice departure from Theme Park Standard, as it is neither deep fried nor cheese covered.

Food - I love food!!

Magic Kingdom - I am at Columbia Harbor House! I love the shrimp as well - but the seating for us - upstairs - overlooking the street to Haunted Mansion. Its quieter up there - DD loves the apple dumpling dessert (me, not so much, if it were fresh, probably I'd love it!)

Epcot - as if I could pick one! TS - I'm with Remy and Les Chef but for a CS credit, (if its not too hot) I love Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, lately we've been heading upstairs in Japan for sushi etc at Yakitori House (OK, so there are so many choices in Epcot - we spend a lot of time in Epcot!! lol)

DHS - its not always open, but near Indiana Jones, if you time it before IJ is over we love Backlot Express!

AK - we used to love Tusker House when it was a CS, now we are not bowled over by anything - Pizzafari has good sandwiches and A/C! but the smells coming from Flame Tree BBQ can be delightful!

Hollywood Brown Derby is a nice, civilized, air conditioned break from the DHS mid-day sun. I don't feel obligated to eat as much at lunch as at dinner, and it's fun to sit in one of the horseshoe-shaped booths and people-watch. It's not as crazy-busy at lunch either, so the break is nice after racing around the park all morning hitting the headliners and collecting FastPasses. We can usually time it to be out in time to get to the next performance of BatB, which lets out in time to use our FPs at ToT and RnR, then to chat with Dorma Nesmond (our favorite Citizen of Hollywood) before my guilty-pleasure 3:00 parade.

My all time favorite for lunch is Kona Cafe, and I also enjoy lunch at the Plaza, CHH and Rose and Crown.

Im a little late since there is a new week posted now but I wanted to chime in.

A close second would be CHH at MK. Their shrimp is actually some of the best fried shrimp, it has a buttery flavor or somthing. YUM

But Id have to say my favorite lunch is actually splitting a sandwhich, soup, pastry at Norway, then sharing fish and chips in UK, and then a cheese plate and creme brule in France. I know thats not one choice but it is what we usually do from 12-3ish in Epcot. I much prefer to get to piece on all those then to pick one place and eat a whole meal. :RpS_drool:

I agree with Michael's list, below, except
MK: Pecos Bills special Angus Burger and apple slices.

Epcot: Yorkshire Fish & Chips in the UK Pavilion
MK: Shrimp at Columbia Harbor House
HS: Deli sandwich and a cupcake at Starring Rolls
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
