The Brewer’s Collection returns to the left of the Germany Marketplace and the Germany Pavilion.
It’s probably time that I stop reminiscing about the time that this Marketplace served eight different draft beers, at least six of which you’d probably never see outside of Germany.
The Zwickel from the good old days.
Of the current choices, the Hacker-Pschorr is the best bet for the beer snobs with your typical flavor profile for this style – bread-y, malt-y, clove-y, banana-y with just a little bit of spice on the back end.
The Pomegranate Schofferhofer is refreshing for as long as the 4- or 6-ounce cup lasts, but at 2.5% ABV, isn’t going to take you very far.
Overall, I wouldn’t wait long to pick up a flight here and the Zwickel is also available next door at the Germany Marketplace, but the Pomegranate is a tasty twist on the regular grapefruit Schofferhofer and the Hacker-Pschorr is quite good.
