Following the Marketplace Co-Op/Tren-D update, we’ll continue on to Mickey’s Pantry, World of Disney, and whatever that Star Wars store is called that’s currently occupying D-Street.
I apparently can’t find a good picture of the exterior of the Marketplace Co-Op, which is one of the more interesting stores at Disney Springs. Not a whole lot about what’s offered is unique to the store, but it does offer a lot of what you might consider to be unique to Walt Disney World merchandise, if that makes any sense. The store is made up of six different areas and some portions of it have been substituted for something else. For example, Beautifully Disney and The Trophy Room are long gone. You’ll find it in between Ghirardelli and Once Upon A Toy.
As usual, most of the items pictured are new-ish. Others probably aren’t. Most everything should be available from the Shop Disney Parks app. All pictures are from the last two weeks so it’s all pretty current.
D-Tech On Demand is still here. As long as you have a recent iPhone or Samsung Galaxy then you can customize a variety of phone cases:
We’ll head out to the BoardWalk area to check in on the various closures and refurbishments.
We’ll take a trip out to Disney Springs to catch up on construction progress and grab lunch at the Morimoto Asia bar.
Skipper Canteen opened back in December in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom to the left of what used to be Aloha Isle and is now Sunshine Tree Terrace. That puts us across from the entrance to Swiss Family Treehouse or just across the Adventureland Bridge from the Hub. It marks Magic Kingdom’s first table service addition since the incredibly popular Be Our Guest Restaurant opened all the way back in December of 2012.
