Nomad Lounge Review and Tiffins Preview as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Embarks on Historic Summer

See this post for a full review of Tiffins, including pictures and thoughts on every appetizer, all-but-one entree, every dessert, and every drink.

Nomad Lounge and Tiffins signature restaurant officially open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, Friday May 27th. The website received an Owl stating that both would “soft open” around 11:30am on the 26th and I headed out to investigate.

Pinocchio Village Haus Shrimp Alfredo Review, Harbour House Fish, and Magic Kingdom Construction – 5/22/16

Does anybody remember the time when if you saw somebody holding up their phone or tablet or camera or what have you that they were probably taking a picture of what’s in front of them and it might be polite to step out of their way? And now there’s a 95% chance that they’re using the front camera to take a picture of themselves and you can just continue about your business?

Ample Hills Creamery Review on the Disney BoardWalk with Bonus Bakery Sandwiches

Ample Hills Creamery is ummmmmmmm perhaps not the direction I would have gone with name-wise if I was looking to go into the $10 ice cream cone business. But then I am also not opening a $10 ice cream cone business on the BoardWalk either. Ample Hills otherwise arrives from Brooklyn, New York and may be better known among the Disney community as the producer of the Light Side and Dark Side ice cream flavors to advertise The Force Awakens. I was actually thinking (yes I do that sometimes) the other day at Disney Springs about how many people you would have to ask before you found someone that was unaware that there was a new Star Wars movie last year. There are not a lot of products with that kind of penetration.
