I spent a very pleasant afternoon at Magic Kingdom yesterday and took a few pictures of the Halloween decorations while Mr. The Tom spent an hour talking to purses (don’t ask.)
A look around:
Magic Kingdom will celebrate its 45th anniversary exactly one week from today on October 1st, 2016. I was present at the 40th, a report of which you can read here: http://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/magic-kingdom-40th-anniversary-pictures/. If you think the pictures and commentary are lousy now…
In case you have interest, here’s a look at 98.3% of the Food and Wine Festival merchandise this year. I might be missing a pin or something. About 30 items are available via the Shop Disney Parks app, which at the time of writing/copy/pasting this post is offering free shipping on $75+. Select the Festival from the main screen for the easiest navigation. At the Festival itself, you’ll find the largest selection at the Festival Center. After you pass the Fountain of Nations , most of the merchandise is available at the kiosks on either side. MouseGear also carries some as do the pop-up kiosks around World Showcase. Also look out for the cat art as you head into Germany from China.
Here’s a look:
We’ll take a visit to Magic Kingdom to catch up on a few newsworthy notes happening around the Park, in addition to stopping for dinner at Pecos Bill to see how the Beef Nachos hold up to other offerings.
We’ll take a visit to this year’s Festival Center to see what’s fresh. You’ll find it in the same place as it has been located for several years in between Mission: SPACE and Ellen’s Energy Adventure.
