Did you miss the “writer’s block” or something similar in name near the entrance to Sci-Fi? It’s a small and usually quiet (and cool in the summer…) book store with a single dessert case with cookies and pastry fare. It has a few chairs to relax in; it’s a favorite of mine to catch a break from the crowds for a bit. I’m a big fan of the gingerbread mickey. I’s old-school like that.
