Extra Magic Hours: Evening.
FASTPASS: No
Type: Omnimover
Similar To: Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth
Requirements: None
Scary Factor: Zero, unless you’re frightened of underseas creatures.
When To Go: This attraction loads fast, which cuts down on waits. Visit after experiencing the other Future World attractions with longer afternoon waits. Sometime between 11am and 2pm or after 6pm would be best.
Expect to Wait: Waits of about ten minutes are common and they rarely exceed 20 minutes.
Length: 4 minutes
What to Expect: Nemo & Friends is a slow “clamobile” ride through a long Finding Nemo themed tunnel. The neatest part of the attraction is when the characters from Finding Nemo are shown swimming with real fish inside of the 5.7 million gallon salt-water tank. The ride lets visitors out at The Seas Pavilion, which is full of hands-on activities and places to view the 6,000+ underwater animals that live within one of the largest undersea environments in the world.
Where to Sit: Everyone’s view is the same.
Rating: 9/10 for kids around ten or younger. 3/10 for adults.
Commentary: Nemo is a slow ride that younger visitors will probably enjoy more than teens or their parents. Although the Nemo ride conveniently transports visitors to The Seas Pavilion, it’s also possible to enter the Pavilion through the gift shop. It’s best to explore the air-conditioned Pavilion and its exhibits during the afternoon heat or during peak hours at Epcot when lines are at their longest. Make sure to pay special attention to the manatee exhibit. The Seas With Nemo & Friends ride is a must-do if you have young children, but not a necessity if you don’t. Even if you aren’t interested in the ride, I would still check out The Seas Pavilion at some point. There’s a lot of interesting exhibits to see.

Opened: November 16, 2004
Location: Future World –The Seas Pavilion
Extra Magic Hours: Evening – the last show begins 20 minutes before evening Extra Magic Hours end.
FASTPASS: No
Type: Interactive show
Similar To: Monsters Inc Laughing Floor
Requirements: None
Scary Factor: Zero
When To Go: Before 12:00pm or after 6:00pm
Expect to Wait: 20 minutes or less (due to show length). Waits are rarely longer than it takes for the next show to begin. Try to time it so you enter as the previous show is getting out.
Length: 15 minutes
What to Expect: Turtle Talk is a live interactive show featuring Crush, the turtle from Finding Nemo. The theatre is small and the kids are asked to sit up front to talk with Crush. Crush will appear in 3D on screen and interact live with the audience. Crush moves, chats, and fields audience questions in real time and every show is unique.
Where to Sit: Adults and teenagers should be able to see the screen in front of the theater just fine from any seat. Younger kids are welcome to sit on the floor in the front of the theater. Sitting anywhere is fine.
Fun Facts: Andrew Stanton, the original voice of Crush, wrote and directed Finding Nemo and Wall-E. Disney had to shut down Turtle Talk five days after it opened because its popularity was overwhelming the Pavilion. It reopened a few weeks later in a new location.
Rating: 8/10
Commentary: Turtle Talk is one of the neatest shows at Disney World. Crush is rendered in real time at 60 frames per second and it will appear as though his lips move in perfect sync with his words. The attraction has become so popular that larger theaters have been installed at Disney’s California Adventure, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea. Although the show is geared towards kids, most adults should appreciate the humor and you’ll probably be trying to figure out how the show works. I would recommend adding it to your itinerary, whether you have kids or not. It’s a great way to get off your feet in the afternoon Florida heat.
