Is it true that Fantasmic is being added to more nights in October 2011? If so how does that change the prediction for Thursday Oct. 13th. We left that day for Hollywood Studios even though it was an avoid day. Will it be better now that they have added Fantasmic to every other night that week?

I have a couple of questions about the Happy Haunting trick or treating in Downtown Disney. Last year it was held on Oct 30th as well as the 31st. Will it be the same dates this year? Is the 31st significantly busier? Any other advice?

Hi Josh,
I just read that the customizable ear hats have been discontinued, but cannot find any info to support this fact anywhere on-line. I am heading to WDW later this fall and need two new sets of ears for my daughters’ hats. When packing for home on our last trip I took off the ears for easier packing and subsequently left them in the room (I think) I was hoping to replace them. Do you know anything about the snap-on ers being discontinued?
When will the dates for the Tomorrowland Terrace Ireworks Dessert Party be announced for December? Is it worth the money?

Just wanted to Echo above poster and request a touring plan for MK. I am considering a different touring plan, but I really really like these and would prefer to use the one from here should it ever exist.
I recently discovered your site and I LOVE it!!! I can tell this took a lot of work and I appreciate your detailed calendar descriptions. It has made me re-think my vacation schedule but I have plenty of time. Thanks for all your work, it is a huge help.

Thank you Josh for all your hard work! Your site is easily navigated, the information presented is precise and while containing necessary information isn’t so lengthy or wordy that the reader gets lost in too much information, and your explanations and reasoning are very helpful. Not only did you help me decide the time of year for my trip you also helped me decide exactly which week was best that month for a visit and why. The section was resorts was very helpful when I was having trouble deciding which of the Disney resorts to call home for my trip. I ended up with two resorts due to having to fly in a day earlier than planned. I was able to plan my day my day park itinerary and chose my dining reservations too based on your reviews and information. I only wish you had reviews of resort restaurants. That was about the only thing I couldn’t find here. Kudos for this wonderful wonderful information and all the hard work that goes into maintaining this! Thanks again!!!!
Do you have a touring plan/guide for Magic Kingdom? We are going in December and I am printing out your Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios to take with us. We have 5 year old twins, who are both over 40″ tall. Thanks!
Disney’s website says Osborne Lights will start on Thursday November 10. Does that change your opinion on Hollywood Studios being Most Recommended for that day?
Thank you Steve for your great information on here!!!! I used your idea of taking the Train at RD to Fronteirland and it really worked for us. We rode BTMR, grabbed FP for Splash, Rode Splash, Rode Jungle Cruise, came back to Splash and there was an 80 minute wait already!!!! This was on 8/24/11. We got through 9 attractions within about 3 and a half hours!!!! including Dumbo, Philaharmagic, Pirates, Small World, Winnie the Pooh (Had to get FP for that one), Mad Tea Party Thanks so much for the tip and with someone with tired feet it helped a great bit!!!!!!

Josh – just wanted to say thank you. We were there 2 weeks ago, and followed your recommended parks suggestions. We also split Epcot and MK into 2 days each, got to each park almost at rope drop, and used Fastpasses efficiently. Everyone thought I was a genius, and they wondered why I had been so worried about long lines before we travelled! We were usually 30 minutes ahead of the crowd, even with a late start. After reading your touring plans for AK, Epcot, and DHS, I used your ideas to make my own touring plan for MK (but, we are all waiting anxiously for your “official” touring plan for MK). Thank you again – you made it easy and enjoyable and made me look like the greatest planner.

I love your site. Thank you so much for all your input and time. I use it every year.
This year is a bit different. Typically, we just go when the crowds are low and take the kids out of school. This year we are going during a conference for my husband.
Problem is – all 4 conference choices are during peak/holiday times. I am not sure which one to pick. We really really don’t like huge crowds. Our kids are young and don’t like to wait in lines.
The choices are:
Thanksgiving week
After christmas-new years
spring break week (march 12- 17)
or easter week
Which one do you recommend based on the least amount of people going? Or should we just not even go to a conference? Great thing about attending conference during this years Disney trip …. is our group will pay for part of trip….
We are taking our Grandkids to stay at the Wilderness Cabins for the 1st time..although we have had over 30 visits this is our 1st time there..I am getting nervous about the transportation ..the kids are 9,5 and 22 months.I always plan our days and meals but I am worried about what I am hearing about waiting a long time and taking several buses to get around! Help!This will be one of our shorter trips since we are pulling the kids out of school and I dont want a nightmare for my daughter and kids!
We just returned from 9 days in Disney World and I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate everything we learned through your site. Our group consisted of 3 families and all of the valuable information we learned through easywdw.com made our trip so much more enjoyable then it would have been otherwise. Everything from choosing the right hotel and places to eat, to what day was best to visit each park was spelled out clearly and as well or better then any other site we found. We visited Disney World when your crowd calendar said the crowds would be low and they were. Thank you for the service and information you provide. You helped our families create memories that will last a lifetime!
Josh, we have reservations at the Poly resort march 3 – 8th only 5 nights b/c of the cost, with my mom and two sons ages 7 and 13. we have been to disney one previous time staying at the music resort. My question is this…is the Poly worth 3639.99 for 5 nights??? I am thinking of switching to a moderate, CBR preferred room which I can get for 2625 for 6 nights and 4 day tickets. Dining is free this week. Can you give me some advice?? Thank you.
Love all the CS menu pictures. You have DHS, AK, and MK. Any chance you will be adding EPCOT soon? What about the other non-park locals. BB, TL, DTD, and resorts. I realize you can’t possibly go to all locations all the time but wonder if you have any plans to do any others. Thanks, and wonderful job on the updates.

Rather than checking back every few minutes, ok seconds…, do you have an E.T.A. for the revised October 2011 crowd calendar with the new WDW operating hours that were distributed Sept 19? Should we expect something today, tomorrow, a couple of days from now? Just curious. Thanks!
Just returned from Disneyworld, wonder if you could help me out with a question.
My little one loved a certain pop at the ice cream cart, it was multicolored ice pop, but I cant recall the name of it….maybe next pass thru one of the parks you can take a look for me?

I posted on your review of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as well, but I thought posting here might get noticed faster. We are going to be at WDW from the 18th – 22nd of December. Your review of MVMCP says that the fireworks and parades on the nights of Dec 20-30 as they are at the Christmas Party. I’ve called Disney, and they claim that the fireworks and parades are not the same. Is this a change of policy at Disney, are the fireworks and parades just very similar, or will Disney change their schedules closer to Christmas to include those events?
Sorry, that last post should have said “your review says that the fireworks and parades on Dec 20-30 are the same as they are at the Christmas Party.”

I was curious if you have a review on Disney Quest? We are thinking of taking our 8 year old son there this year. I couldn’t find anything on your site.
Josh, Your site is truly a gift. I feel like I am a pretty seasoned veteran of all things Disney including all of the DisneyWorld parks and I think you have done such an amazing job with this site. Thanks for taking all of the time to patiently figure out how to optimize traveling within the World! I know that DisneyWorld can either be one of the greatest things on earth or it can become a nightmare without a good plan.

I saw your posting of the Animal Kingdome hours being extended during my dates Dec 16-23 but the Disneyworld.com website does not show that. Can you share with us where you got the information. I thought Disneyworld.com would show the updated hours since it was official. Thank you for the great work you do on this website. It is amazingly helpful!

THANK YOU!!! for this website. We are back from an 8 day trip and had a wonderful time! I used your site to choose which days to go where and followed your advice when planning out our days. We only spent 4 days at the parks and enjoyed the hotel pool the other days. My son eats gluten free and we found feeding him to be so easy! Thanks again! Your site was so helpful!!!
I know the Halloween party is 7-midnight, but what time are the ticket holders permitted to enter? Are we required to wait til 7pm or is entrance granted earlier?????
I discovered your website earlier this year and am beyond in love with your crowd calendars, the fact that they are FREE and all of the other great info you have on here! I’ve used your website to plan 2 trips for us this year and when even thinking about going to WDW this is the first place I come for info now! Your webiste is wonderful!..just wondering is there any single day that you have given a “1″ rating?
Josh, Given that Sunday, Nov. 6th, is the day Daylight Savings end and we will be turning our clocks BACK one hour at 1:00 AM, will Magic Kingdom be open until 3:00 AM or 2:00 AM? I understand that EMH are for three hours after the park closes for general admissions. Wouldn’t that make it , technically, 2:00 AM?
Will you be attending a MVMCP? and if so when? Thanks for all of your help!
